Khurmadera Beach

Khurmadera — Kurma Dera, meaning ‘shell’ — is one of South Andaman's most offbeat beaches, famous for the striking blue-tinted shells scattered along its shore.

Getting there is part of the adventure: a 2–2.5 km walk along a mangrove creek, best done with a local guide given the crocodile habitat en route.
