A boat-based scuba dive off Havelock's Turtle Beach reef — no prior diving experience needed, with a PADI-trained instructor by your side throughout.
This introductory boat dive takes you out to a reef site off Turtle Beach, one of Havelock's quieter dive spots. You don't need any prior diving certification — a PADI-trained instructor stays with you underwater the entire time, and the dive is kept shallow and unhurried.
Expect to see reef fish, soft corals, and — depending on the season — a good chance of spotting sea turtles the beach is named for.
A short boat ride from Havelock's jetty out to the Turtle Beach dive site, with a full safety and equipment briefing on the way.
Your instructor fits your gear, runs through hand signals and breathing basics, and takes you through a calm confidence check in shallow water first.
A guided dive along the reef at a gentle depth, with your instructor close by throughout.
Certification: not required for this introductory dive — Andaman dive centres typically welcome first-timers from around age 10, with beginner dives kept to roughly 4–12 metres depth under an instructor.
Swimming: basic water comfort helps, but you are guided the whole time.
