Long Island

Long Island

Long Island is one of the most unique and underappreciated destinations on the Andaman Islands, and it deserves more attention and visitors. The Island has piqued the interest of both peace and adventure seekers. With an area of 18 square kilometres, it is relatively small but offers plenty of adventure to visitors. The clear waters, diverse underwater ecosystem, and live corals make it an unforgettable experience. It may take nearly an entire day to get to Long Island, so this location may not be ideal for people visiting the island for less than 10 days. Repeat visitors and those on a long journey, on the other hand, should consider Long Island as a travel option.

Lalaji Bay Beach

Lalaji Bay Beach, the pride of Andaman, is located on the Long island's west coast. The beach is synonymous with beautiful sandy coastlines and peaceful vibes, making it a lovely place to visit. Standard ferries from Rangat and Central Andaman connect to the Bay beach. The ferries transport you through the unique Mangrove creek lined on your way to the beach, creating a unique experience. The sparsely populated beach also provides beautiful carroty sunsets and dolphins hurtling back to the sea. If you're looking for a place to relax and rejuvenate in the Andaman Islands, the white sandy beach is a good place to start.

Guitar Island

Guitar Island Beach is one of the least visited island beaches in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands group. The island's uniqueness stems from its shape of a guitar, which can be seen from above by taking a seaplane ride from Andaman. In the Long Island group, it was a protected rainforest and coral-bearing area. Today, it is becoming more popular as the Andaman tourist department allows for day trips. It is one of the best beaches for people of all ages to visit. From this white sandy beach, you can see an enticing change in seawater colour. The beach at Guitar Island is ideal for honeymooners, nature lovers, monsoon chasers, adventure seekers, and recreational purposes.

Merk Bay Beach

Merk Bay Island in Andaman is best described as having sun, sand, and a long beach. Merk Bay Beach is located on North Passage Island, close to Straight Island and Long Island, and is away from the usual tourist crowd. Because North Passage Island is uninhabited, the beach retains its clear blue water, which provides an enchanting view of a variety of colourful fish beneath and creates a beautiful contrast with the clean white sand for miles. Enjoy uninterrupted long walks, soak in the clear, deep blue water, spend quality time with friends and family away from the tourists, and, if you're lucky, see the playful dolphins that abound on this island.
